Thin blade slitter is a machine used to cut cardboard. Thin blade slitter is generally divided into several paper feeding methods, generally can be divided into manual paper feeding, ordinary front edge paper feeding and belt front edge paper feeding.

 

1. Front edge paper feeding

The front edge paper feeding wheel of the front edge of the paper feeding device contacts the front edge of the paper, and the paper is pushed forward into the thin blade machine through the rotation or movement of the component. The paper feeding accuracy is high, and the feeding position and speed of the paper can be accurately controlled. It is suitable for occasions with high requirements for slitting accuracy, such as the production of high-precision cartons, fine packaging, etc. Since the paper feeding action is relatively smooth and the impact force on the paper is small, the deformation and damage of the paper during the feeding process can be reduced, and it can adapt to a variety of paper thicknesses and materials, including thinner or softer paper.

 

2. Belt paper feeding

Rely on the friction between the paper feeding belt and the paper to drive the paper forward. The paper feeding belt is usually made of materials with certain friction such as rubber. When the paper feeding belt rotates, the paper is transported to the slitting position of the thin knife machine through friction with the surface of the paper. It is still fully automatic paper feeding, but the structure is simpler than the front edge, and the cost is lower. It is suitable for some occasions where the paper feeding accuracy is not particularly high and the production scale is small. At the same time, the paper feeding accuracy is lower than that of the front edge paper feeding. During the paper feeding process, the paper may have a lower paper separation accuracy due to uneven friction and other reasons. There are certain requirements for the thickness and hardness of the paper. For paper that is too thin or too soft, there may be problems such as poor paper feeding or paper damage.

 

3. Manual paper feeding

The manual paper feeding thin blade slitter is a machine that directly feeds paper into the slitting position of the thin blade machine by hand. Manual paper feeding can adjust the speed, position and angle of paper feeding at any time according to the actual situation. For some irregularly shaped or special required papers, it can be operated more flexibly to ensure that the paper enters the slitting position accurately. For example, when dealing with some small-sized and irregularly shaped paper samples or papers with special processes, manual paper feeding can better control the paper feeding process. Manual paper feeding does not require complex paper feeding transmission devices such as belts, motors, front edge paper feeding mechanisms, etc., so the structure of the equipment is relatively simple and the cost is low.
