As the core component of the machine, the corrugated rollers are directly involved in the corrugation forming process, and their quality directly affects the quality of the corrugated cardboard.

Single facer machine commonly use a variety of corrugating roller materials. The most commonly used corrugating roller materials are 45# steel, 48CrMo steel, 50CrMo steel, and tungsten carbide alloy steel.

1. 45# steel has a wide range of applications, especially in medium- and low-speed corrugated cardboard production lines.

2. 48CrMo steel offers high strength, good hardenability, and excellent toughness. After medium-frequency quenching or nitriding, the hardness reaches HRC55 or above, making it able to withstand the pressure and friction of the corrugating process. It is wear-resistant and non-deformable, making it suitable for medium- and low-speed production lines, as well as some high-speed production lines.

3. 50CrMo steel offers high strength and excellent toughness. Utilizing special forging and machining processes, it meets the requirements of corrugating rollers operating in high-speed, high-pressure environments. Uniform internal stress distribution reduces the possibility of deformation during use, making it suitable for high-speed, high-precision corrugated board production.

4. Tungsten carbide is a highly wear-resistant coating material with exceptional hardness, thermal fatigue resistance, and excellent oxidation and abrasion resistance. Spraying tungsten carbide on the surface of corrugating rollers significantly extends their service life, effectively resisting abrasion from impurities and hard mineral particles in the corrugated base paper, reducing roller surface wear and reducing maintenance and replacement frequency. This product is particularly suitable for high-speed production lines and is highly recommended.
