Simultaneously, the clearance between the blade and the liner must be precisely adjusted. Too large a clearance will result in incomplete cutting, while too small a clearance will damage both the blade and the liner. It is recommended to fine-tune the clearance to 0.1-0.3mm based on the cardboard thickness (corrugated cardboard is typically 3-12mm) to ensure clean cutting.
2. Pressure Roller and Speed Matching: Insufficient pressure on the Slitter Scorer Corrugated pressure rollers can cause cardboard misalignment, while excessive pressure can easily cause indentation and deformation. The pressure needs to be adjusted to a uniform and stable level according to the cardboard material (e.g., corrugation type, paper weight). The slitting speed must be synchronized with the cardboard conveyor speed. During high-speed slitting, ensure smooth equipment operation to avoid dimensional deviations due to speed fluctuations. A speed of 80-120 m/min is generally recommended to meet the processing needs of standard corrugated cardboard.
3. Routine Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean paper scraps and impurities from the Slitter Scorer Corrugated pressure rollers and blades to prevent accumulation that could affect slitting accuracy. Check the lubrication of transmission components such as guide rails and lead screws, adding dedicated lubricating oil to reduce wear and ensure smooth equipment operation. Proper management of these details ensures the thin-blade slitter consistently delivers high-precision slitting results, laying a solid foundation for the overall quality of cartons.
