Automatic Die Cutting and Creasing Machine Paper Feeding Mechanism Adjustment Guide

Paper feeding mechanisms in automatic die cutting and creasing machines often experience problems such as paper jams, cardboard skew, and misalignment during production, which are mostly related to improper adjustment of the paper feeding mechanism. This article, based on practical experience, details the precise adjustment methods for the paper feeding mechanism.

I. Adjustment Techniques for Paper Feed Rollers Matching the pressure and speed of the paper feed rollers is crucial for smooth paper feeding. First, check the surface wear of the paper feed rollers on the automatic die cutting and creasing machine. If unevenness is found, replace them promptly to ensure even contact between the roller surface and the cardboard. Adjust the pressure according to different cardboard weights: For ordinary cardboard (300-500 g/m²), control the pressure at 0.2-0.3 MPa; for heavy cardboard (above 500 g/m²), adjust the pressure to 0.3-0.4 MPa. Avoid insufficient pressure causing slippage, and excessive pressure causing cardboard indentations. Meanwhile, the paper feed roller speed must be synchronized with the main machine speed. Fine-tuning via the equipment control panel ensures the cardboard conveying speed remains stable at 15-25 m/min, seamlessly connecting with subsequent processes.

II. Parameter Optimization of the Paper Suction Device The suction force of the paper suction device in the Automatic die cutting and creasing machine needs to be adjusted according to the cardboard material. For thin cardboard, adjust the suction force to 0.03-0.05 MPa to avoid excessive suction causing cardboard deformation; for thick or laminated cardboard, increase the suction force to 0.05-0.08 MPa to ensure one sheet is suctioned at a time, preventing the simultaneous conveying of two or more sheets. Simultaneously, check the sealing of the suction nozzle. If leakage is found, replace the sealing gasket immediately and adjust the distance between the suction nozzle and the cardboard to 2-3 mm to ensure stable paper suction.

III. Testing Procedure After Routine Debugging After debugging, conduct trial production testing: continuously convey 50-100 sheets of cardboard to check for paper jams, misalignment, and other problems. Measure the cardboard positioning error with a ruler to ensure it does not exceed 0.5 mm. If any abnormalities occur, readjust the parameters of the corresponding components until the equipment operates stably. It is recommended to perform a 10-minute no-load test before starting the machine each day and regularly clean paper scraps and dust from the paper feeding mechanism to extend the service life of the equipment.
