I. Production Line Overview

Our 3/5/7 ply corrugated cardboard production line is designed to manufacture premium-quality corrugated paperboard in 3, 5, or 7 layers, using single-layer kraft paper and cardboard. The line is composed of several key components, including the reel stand, preheating cylinder, single facer, multi-ply preheater, gluing machine, double facer, and spiral knife cross-cutter. Together, these units ensure a complete and efficient production process.

 

II. Production Line Classification

 

By Number of Layers

The 3/5/7 ply corrugated cardboard production line is classified according to the number of layers of corrugated paperboard it produces. For 3-layer production, one single facer is required; 5-layer production requires two; and 7-layer production requires three single facers. A 7-ply corrugation line can also produce 3-ply and 5-ply boards, while a 3-ply line cannot produce 5-ply or 7-ply boards.

 

By Paper Width

Another classification method is by paper width. We provide a variety of options, with common widths such as 1600, 1800, 2000, and 2200 mm. Customized widths-such as 1500 or 1700 mm-can also be supplied to meet specific customer requirements.

 

By Working Speed

The working speed of the production line is another important factor. Regardless of paper grammage, speed is typically measured by the number of meters of corrugated paperboard produced per minute. Our lines are available with standard speeds of 100, 120, and 150 meters per minute. Customers can select the most suitable model based on production volume and throughput needs.
