Corrugated single facer structure and working principle
Core components:
Corrugating Roll: Press the core paper into a wavy shape through high temperature and high pressure (common B, C, E, F and other fluting types.)
Pressure Roll: Cooperate with the corrugating roller to ensure that the core paper and the surface paper are firmly bonded.
Gluing Unit: Evenly apply starch glue on the top of the corrugated core paper to bond the surface paper.
Suction Conveyor: Corrugated single facer uses vacuum adsorption to stably transport the cardboard to prevent separation or warping.
Workflow:
Heating and forming: The corrugating roller of corrugated single facer is heated to 160-200℃, and the core paper is pressed into a wavy shape between the rollers.
Gluing and bonding: The glue roller applies glue to the top of the corrugated peak, and then the surface paper is bonded under the action of the pressure roller.
Cooling and shaping: The bonded single-sided cardboard is cooled and solidified by the conveyor belt and enters the next processing link.

The steam pressure range of corrugated single facer is 0.8-1.3MPa to ensure uniform corrugated forming.
Some models are equipped with a heat recovery system to reduce energy consumption (such as oil bath drive box design).
Modular design:
The corrugated roller, gluing unit and other components adopt a split structure for quick maintenance and replacement.
The Fingerless model transfers cardboard through vacuum adsorption to reduce mechanical wear and improve long-term stability.
