Routine Maintenance of Carton Printing Slotting Die Cutting Machine

In the carton production process, the stable operation of the carton printing slotting die cutting machine is a core prerequisite for ensuring printing quality and improving production efficiency. Compared to process adjustments during production, routine maintenance and upkeep of the equipment are equally crucial factors affecting printing results.

Maintenance of Printing Plates and Roller Assemblies: As the core carrier for image reproduction, the printing plate needs to be regularly inspected for wear, deformation, or stains. If ink clumps or paper residue are found, gently wipe with a special cleaning agent, avoiding scratching the plate surface with hard tools. When installing the printing plate, ensure accurate positioning and even tightening of bolts to prevent misregistration due to loosening. The rollers, impression rollers, and other roller components need to be cleaned daily to remove ink and paper dust. Regularly measure the roller diameter and replace them promptly when surface cracks, dents, or uneven wear appear. Maintain adequate lubrication of the roller bearings to prevent abnormal rotation noise or jamming that could affect the uniformity of ink transfer. The doctor blade needs to be checked regularly for edge flatness. If nicks or dulling occur, it should be sharpened or replaced immediately. After adjusting the contact angle between the doctor blade and the roller, the fixing device must be tightened to prevent angle deviation during production, which could cause blade lines, ink smearing, and other problems.

Maintenance of the Transmission and Electrical Systems: Transmission chains, gears, and other components need to be regularly lubricated with special lubricating oil. Adhesive dust and oil should be cleaned promptly. Chain tension should be adjusted to avoid printing speed fluctuations caused by excessive transmission clearance, resulting in image ghosting. The electrical control system cabinet must be kept well-ventilated and dry. Wiring connections should be checked regularly for looseness. Sensors, encoders, and other detection components must be protected against dust and water to ensure accurate feedback of parameters such as printing speed and pressure. After the carton printing slotting die cutting machine is shut down, the power and air supply must be turned off promptly. Residual ink in the ink lines should be purged, and the lines should be flushed with a cleaning agent to prevent ink from drying and clogging, which would affect ink transfer efficiency for the next startup.
