Die Cutting and Creasing Machine Pressure Adjustment: A Critical Step in Determining Product Precision

In post-processing of carton boxes, die-cutting is the core process that determines the final shape and precision of the product. Adjusting the die-cutting pressure is the most critical step in this process, directly impacting die-cutting quality and production efficiency.

If the die-cutting and creasing machine pressure is too low, the cut will be incomplete, and the paper or cardboard will not be completely separated, resulting in "connected dots" that require manual re-processing, seriously affecting production efficiency. Conversely, if the pressure is too high, it will not only shorten the life of the die-cutting blade and creasing line, but may also break the cardboard, damaging the product's appearance and evenly affecting the machine's precision.

So, how can one accurately adjust the die-cutting and creasing machine pressure? Operators should follow the principle of "starting small and increasing, and adjusting evenly." First, adjust the pressure to the minimum value that just cuts the material, then inspect the die-cut product to ensure the cut is smooth and consistent. For knife lines at different positions on the die-cutting plate, it may be necessary to locally increase or decrease the number of paper layers in the impression plate liner to achieve pressure balance and ensure uniform die-cutting effect across the entire plate.
