Corrugated carton flexo folder gluer, also known as the carton box production line, is a fully automated machine that integrates carton printing, slotting, die-cutting, and folding. It converts corrugated cardboard into corrugated boxes, achieving efficient production from cardboard to finished boxes.

Printing Unit

This unit primarily consists of a plate cylinder, anilox roller, ink fountain, doctor blade, and impression cylinder. The configuration of the printing press may vary depending on the specific printing requirements. For example, for printing simple designs, we recommend a metal anilox roller and rubber roller. For printing more elaborate designs, we recommend a ceramic anilox roller and doctor blade.

Slotting Unit

The slotting unit consists of two upper and lower slotting knives and a creasing wheel. The slotting knives are typically round and have sharp blades, while the creasing wheel has specially designed grooves to create the creases. When the corrugated cardboard is fed into the slotting unit, the upper and lower slotting knives rotate synchronously, cutting the edges of the cardboard and creating the gaps for folding the boxes. Simultaneously, the creasing wheel applies pressure to the corresponding locations on the cardboard, creating creases. This determines the position and angle of the carton fold and prepares the carton for subsequent forming. The depth and width of the notches, as well as the pressure and position of the creasing lines, can be adjusted to suit the carton design requirements.

Die-cutting Unit

The die-cutting unit's main components are the die plate and the press plate. The die plate is inlaid with custom-designed die cutters based on the carton shape, while the press plate provides the necessary pressure. The die-cutting unit is ideal for producing corrugated boxes with special shapes, such as those with unique openings or handles.

Folding, Gluing, and Binding Unit

Folding, Gluing, and Binding Unit is the important unit in the corrugated carton flexo folder gluer. The gluing unit consists of a gluing device, a conveyor mechanism, and a folding mechanism. The gluing device precisely controls the amount and placement of glue. The conveyor mechanism transports the cardboard to the designated position, and the folding mechanism folds the cardboard along the creases, ensuring that the glued sections are properly adhered. The binding unit includes the nail head, nail wire, nail wire holder, and nail wire feed mechanism. Customers can select the most cost-effective solution based on local glue and nail wire prices.
